How did you start your business, and what was your inspiration?
Bill Lutz designs officially started back in 2015. My inspiration was to sell my artwork and to build a clientele that would appreciate both illustration cartooning and graphic design and to promote myself and my business.
What's your favorite part about what you do and why?
My favorite part about this job is the ability to sit down to draw and conceptualize images not only for clients but for myself. I consider myself to be a compositional, illustrator and cartoonist with graphic design skills needed for background work.
Describe a recent project, client success story, or achievement that you're especially proud of.
I have a current project that I am working on for a couple that is to be married. They want a Gothic age science fiction Viking movie poster to be shared as part of the wedding. This is going to be an extremely fun piece to do. I have also completed several commissions for people who wanted to be in basic, book covers of themselves or their favorite characters.
What should potential clients know before hiring someone in your field?
Have an idea what you want and then work with me so we can conceptualize the image so that we can bring it forward as a completed piece. Be open to suggestion and understand that my goal is to make you happiest as a client.
Is there anything else you'd like to share about your business, your process, or how people can work with you?
My goals to provide you with artwork that you will love forever and my personal goal is to always provide you more than what you pay for.
